Presented by the Amador Sawmill and Mining Association / Exhibited at the Amador County Fairgrounds

The Amador Sawmill and Mining Association is a nonprofit organization consisting of a group of volunteers
dedicated to preserving the sawmill and mining history of the Sierra Foothills.

We currently operate the historic Amador Sawmill at the County Fair in Plymouth, California. Adjacent to the sawmill is a replica of a mine
head frame where volunteers give mining demonstrations and display historic mining artifacts.
